We're taking an approach to Twitter that's different. The whole company is twittering. It's like 130 Twitterers in one, each identified, and each can even be tracked by their own individual RSS feeds!

SiteSell Twitter delivers an ongoing feed of news, updates and info, straight from the mouths of SiteSellers, the actual people who do the programming, deliver Support, teach the SiteSell Education or SBI! E-Learning courses, work on website optimization, write the help documentation (text and video), coach SBIers, moderate the forums, and so on. These are the folks who deliver SBI! each and every day.

I'm very excited about SiteSell Twitter. If you remember from earlier blog posts, I was quite skeptical of Twitter at first. But the only way to be sure is to try it. So I did...

After a few months, you develop a deeper understanding of its dynamics and that's when I started to recommend Twitter for those SBIers where the fit is right for their niche and their personal preferences.  However, I still did not see the value for SiteSell.

I mean, you need one heck of an impact in the crowded "online biz space" to make a big-enough difference for us. But, like I said, when you work with something, ideas start coming.

When we developed the idea of everyone in SiteSell tweeting (all for a variety of reasons, news, thoughts, etc.), it clicked and I started to tingle.

Notice how the tweets are signed with a hashtag which includes his/her first name and title, i.e., #KenFounder, #AllanDev, #DarrenSupport. Each SiteSeller signs their tweets this way so you can quickly identify areas of the company that interest you. Clicking on a person's hashtag will take you to other tweets made by that person.

And here's something really cool! If you search for any person's hashtag-sig, you'll get an RSS feed for that search result. In other words, search for any SiteSeller for all past posts. Use his/her RSS feed to follow all future posts.
